The Flow Festival in Helsinki is too cool for selfie sticks. In fact, they’re banned. But millennials don’t go to one of the world’s coolest festivals without wanting to document their presence. A lot.
So we created the world’s largest selfie stick, situated on the festival site so that revellers can capture their presence at the event, with the vast crowds and stage behind them. The installation of the Amazing Super Selfie Stick at Flow Festival was in many ways the biggest real-life marketing event in Europe for the new Toyota C-HR.
Janne Hällfors, the general manager of marketing & sales planning at Toyota Auto Finland had this to say: “It’s crazy. I love it. Are you guys sure this idea can really—I mean REALLY—be done? Just make sure it’s the biggest selfie stick in the world!”
Now the Guinness World Record is considering recording it as just that: the world’s biggest selfie stick. All the super-selfies taken by festival attendants can be viewed and shared through the campaign photo gallery at www.superselfiestick.fi.
The Amazing Super Selfie Stick was awarded at Vuoden Huiput 2017, Finland’s most significant creative design competition.
